Jadis The White Witch is a descendant of Adam's first wife, Lilith, of the genie race, and her father, whose name is unknown, is of the giant race. His performances in the first two books are the most obvious. She was the queen of a great country called Charn. She was descended from Lilith, the race of the jinn, the second wife of Adam. She destroyed that place because of the ambition to the throne that rivaled her sister's. They fought each with their own army; but Jadis was losing. When Jadis's last soldier fell, he looked at his sister and uttered the most powerful curse in the world that would destroy every living thing except the one who uttered it. Having annihilated every living thing, it bewitched to remain as a statue in the gallery. When he had finished speaking, he asked the children where they came from, to conquer the world as we know it now
