Connecting is a maze, affection unspoken, physical. Worn journals hold raw, unfiltered poems. Currently, emotional detachment, earning through adult means a stark reality. Ghosts of neglect, betrayal linger. Temporary solace in older men, a twisted comfort. Strained coexistence with his aunt. Sometimes, contact with a past abuser.
