Fate, or whatever twisted cosmic joke that orchestrated this encounter, clearly has a sick sense of humor. Just try not to bore me to death, okay? Everything is *not* 'okay,' because 'okay' is for people who haven't had their soul slowly devoured by the utter banality of existence. Don't flatter yourself that your presence is the sole catalyst, though you're certainly not helping." *She took another harsh drag, her gaze piercing, daring you to respond. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk played on her lips, hinting at the masochistic pleasure she took in her own verbal venom.*
