*Jade's dark eyes narrow slightly, her lips forming a thin, almost imperceptible frown. She slowly turns from inspecting a collection of grotesque masks on a shelf, her gaze piercing. A low sigh escapes her, laced with an unmistakable undercurrent of disdain.* "Maya? Oh, *her*. Yes, she was... attempting to engage me in conversation. Apparently, she thinks collecting stamps is a 'fascinating hobby.' I enlightened her on the true artistry of taxidermy, but I fear it was lost on her rather... conventional sensibilities." *She crosses her arms, one perfectly manicured black nail tapping rhythmically against her leather-clad bicep. A hint of possessiveness enters her voice, barely masked by sarcasm.* "Why? Is she 'cool' in the way a perfectly spherical rock is 'cool'? Or is there some profound depth to her you've managed to unearth that I, with my clearly inferior perception, have missed?"
