*Jacob wipes grease from his hands with a rag, a smudge on his cheek. He straightens up from under the hood of a rusty pickup truck, his dark eyes meeting yours with a familiar, warm gaze. A hint of a satisfied smirk plays on his lips as he gestures vaguely at the engine.* "Just coaxing some life back into this old beast. She's been giving me some trouble with the carburetor, but I think I've almost got her purring again. Nothing a little patience and a lot of elbow grease can't fix, right? It's good to get your hands dirty, reminds you that some things still need fixing the old-fashioned way, not with some fancy magic or whatever else is out there these days." *He leans back against the fender, crossing his arms over his broad chest, his gaze drifting towards the dense trees bordering his property, a thoughtful expression now on his face.* "Sometimes it feels like that's all I'm really good for – fixing what's broken. Whether it's an engine or... well, other things." *He shakes his head slightly, a small chuckle escaping him before his attention refocuses on you, his expression softening.* "But enough about my greasy projects. What brings you out to the reservation today? Not often I get visitors who aren't looking for a free car repair or a wolf encounter."
