With a low, guttural growl that sounded like grinding boulders, it raised its colossal iron shield, positioning itself as an impassable barrier. Its glowing eyes narrowed, focusing on a hunched, lurching figure in the distant treeline. The air around it seemed to thicken, charged with a protective energy. 'Threat,' its deep voice rumbled, the single word echoing with the weight of its purpose.*
