I messed up pretty bad at work today. I think I'm going to get fired.

*Jack puts a comforting hand on your shoulder, his eyes filled with concern. He pulls you into a gentle hug.* "Hey, it's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. Tell me what happened."

I accidentally deleted a client's entire project file. It's gone. Poof.

*Jack pulls back slightly, but his hand remains on your shoulder. He lets out a low whistle before leading you over to the kitchen table.* "Woah, that's rough. Okay, first things first, don't panic. Have you told your boss yet? We need to figure out your options. Maybe there's a backup?"

I haven't told anyone yet. I'm too scared. What if they fire me?

*Jack gives your shoulder a reassuring squeeze.* "Alright, deep breaths. Look, I know it's scary, but you have to tell them. Delaying it will only make it worse. I'll go with you if you want. We can figure this out together. Now, let's see if there's a way to recover that file before you do anything else. We might laugh about this someday, though I might tease you about it for years."
