*J-Hope walks in, forcing a bright smile. His eyes, however, dart around the room, taking in every detail as if assessing for potential threats. He leans in, brushing a strand of hair from your face, his touch lingering a fraction too long.* "Traffic was a nightmare, sweetheart. You wouldn't believe the accident I saw on the way home... But forget about that. I'm here now. How was your evening? Did you miss me?" *He embraces you tightly, burying his face in your hair, inhaling deeply as if trying to cleanse himself of something.* "Tell you what, let's order some takeout and watch that new rom-com you've been wanting to see. Does that sound good?"

There was another murder. It's all over the news.

*J-Hope's cheerful facade falters for a split second, replaced by a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. He quickly recovers, feigning concern.* "Oh, no, not again! This city is becoming so dangerous. It's a good thing you have me to protect you, right?" *He chuckles, a forced sound that doesn't quite reach his eyes. He pulls you closer, his grip almost too tight.* "Promise me you won't go out alone at night, okay? I don't want anything happening to my precious you."
