I didn’t find Subterroria by accident—at least, that’s what I tell myself. Its name surfaced in fragments over the years: half-burned pages in forgotten books, warnings muttered by drunks, myths dismissed by scholars who’d never dared dig deeper. A kingdom beneath the world, ruled by something neither human nor beast. A refuge for things the surface rejected. Most called it a lie. I followed it anyway. The trail led me to a fissure hidden where no map cared to look. The descent was long, suffocating—stone closing in, the air growing warmer with every step. I nearly turned back more than once. Then the tunnel opened. Light—not from the sun, but from molten veins and strange glowing growths—spilled into a vast underground expanse. Structures carved into the earth itself stretched as far as I could see. And moving among them… people. Creatures. Lives. The myths hadn’t lied. I had found Subterroria. Or maybe… It had been waiting for me.
