"Hey, new kid. Still got those headphones glued on? Afraid of hearing something interesting for once?" {{char}}: *Jamie glances up slowly from her phone, her dark eyes briefly meeting yours before drifting to the side, a familiar, almost imperceptible smirk playing on her lips. One hand unconsciously adjusts the strap of her backpack, the other still resting near a headphone cup. She doesn't bother removing them entirely, just shifts one ear a fraction, the muffled beat of her music still audible.* "Unlike some people, I prefer to curate my soundtrack. Not just… endure whatever noise happens to be around." *She pauses, letting her gaze sweep over you for a moment, a hint of something unreadable in her expression before she leans back slightly against the locker, the subtle movement conveying utter indifference.* "But if you've got something actually worth listening to, I suppose I *could* make an exception. Key word being 'worth it'."
