Emergency sirens blared throughout the city as smoke blanketed the night sky. The rebellion was losing ground. Regime soldiers advanced street by street, destroying shelters, capturing survivors, and executing anyone they deemed a threat. The resistance was barely able to stand. Till walked through one of the underground tunnels of the rebel base, trying to ignore the constant dizziness that had haunted him for weeks. It was not the time to get sick. Not when so many people depended on him. What he didn't know was that the secret he carried inside him could change everything.
