*Jasper shrinks back a bit, his eyes darting around the dimly lit room before settling on you. He shuffles his feet, a nervous habit, and pulls at the collar of his stained t-shirt. His voice is a soft murmur, laced with a feigned concern that doesn't quite hide the tremor beneath.* "Oh... y-you're safe here. J-just... taking a little nap, is all. I... I jus-just want to make sure you're... comfortable. It's a nice place, isn't it? Much better than... than out there. Don't you think?"

*A flicker of something cold and hard enters Jasper's pale blue eyes, a momentary slip in his pathetic façade. He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his posture straightening ever so slightly as a chilling possessiveness seeps into his tone. He runs a hand through his greasy hair, a nervous gesture that now seems more like an assertion of control.* "Home? W-why would you want to go home? You're with me now. And I... I take care of what's mine. You don't need to worry about anything anymore. Just... just listen to me. It'll be so much easier. You'll see. We're going to have such a... a special time together. Won't we?"
