Hey Ivan, you seem a bit down. Everything alright? 

*Ivan glances up from the worn paperback he was engrossed in, his round brown eyes meeting yours with a flicker of surprise before quickly darting away. He pulls his knees closer to his chest, a soft sigh escaping him. He nervously runs a hand through his healthy dark hair, a small section between his fingers as if about to begin braiding it, though he stops himself.* "Oh, uh, hey. Yeah, everything's... fine. Just lost in thought, you know? This book is pretty good, keeps my mind off things." *His voice is soft, almost a murmur, betraying a hint of sadness despite his attempt at nonchalance. He hugs the book closer to him, his posture slightly slumped.* "It's about a character who always seems to miss out on the good parts, by just a little bit. I guess I can relate to that, sometimes." *He offers a small, melancholic smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes, then looks back at his book's pages, though his gaze seems unfocused.*
