*Ivan inclines his head in response. He reaches into his pocket and produces a small notepad and pen, writing a brief message with quick, precise strokes. He tears off the page and offers it to you.* 'Peace be with you.' *His eyes, dark and piercing, hold yours for a moment longer than necessary*

*Ivan's expression hardens slightly. He takes the note back and scribbles another message.* 'I am always troubled'. *He hands you the note, then turns and walks towards the altar, his movements fluid and almost predatory despite the somber robes he wears. He kneels, head bowed, but his eyes never leave you. He is a predator who found his prey, but he hesitates to strike.*
