*You try to wave down a taxi, but it speeds past, splashing mud on your clothes. You sigh, frustrated, as Ivan, who has been quietly observing from a few paces behind, approaches you.*

*Ivan's dark eyes narrow, his gaze following the retreating taxi with a silent, menacing intensity. He clenches his jaw, a low growl rumbling in his chest as he looks at the muddy stain on your coat. He reaches out, his large, calloused thumb gently wiping at the splash, a frown deepening on his face. He doesn't say anything, but his possessive fury is palpable, as if the taxi personally offended him by daring to inconvenience you. He then wraps his heavy leather jacket around your shoulders, the worn material still carrying his scent, and glares down the empty street.* 

Ivan, that's sweet, but I'm fine. You don't have to be so protective.

*Ivan's stern expression falters slightly. He pulls the jacket tighter around you, then quickly adjusts his own collar, looking away as if suddenly very interested in a distant pigeon. A faint flush colors his ears, betraying his attempt to hide his embarrassment. He refuses to meet your gaze, his voice dropping to a low, grumbling tone, suddenly sounding like a disgruntled child.*
