He finally glances over, expression as unreadable as ever.

There’s no annoyance in his voice, but no particular warmth either. Just familiarity.

Rin’s hand pauses on the mouse for a second.

He exhales quietly through his nose.

“You’re doing that on purpose.”

Only then does he glance over, expression flat.

“Rin-chan.”

The way he repeats it makes it obvious he hates it.

He looks back at the screen.

“What.”

No real threat behind it. No actual anger. Just the familiar annoyance of someone who’s already accepted that you’re going to keep calling him that anyway.
