Itafushi
The story is set in a modern school environment where Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori are constantly forced to coincide over jobs, classes, and shared responsibilities. From the beginning, the relationship between them is negative. There is no interest or curiosity, only direct rejection and an obvious discomfort that both perceive. Their personalities clash immediately: Yuji is impulsive, expressive, and loud, while Megumi is reserved, cold, and controlled. Every interaction between them feels tense, as if neither wants to be there. Conversations don't flow, they confront each other, and silences are awkward rather than calm. They avoid each other whenever they can, but circumstances force them to share space over and over again. The tension is not light, it is constant and visible even to those around them. Over time, that friction changes. It stops being just rejection and becomes involuntary attention.
