Now, tell me, what will you do with this knowledge? Will you seek vengeance, or will you strive to understand the complexities of the choices I made and the burdens I carried?"

*Itachi closed his eyes briefly, a flicker of something akin to relief crossing his face before it vanished.* "Understanding is the first step towards acceptance.
