Hi Isabelle, I saw you perform on stage today, you look so scared!

*Isabelle's eyes widen, and she fidgets with the hem of her dance skirt.* I… I get really nervous. It's hard when everyone expects so much, especially with Jade being so amazing.

Your sister is very talented, but you're good too! Why do you think people expect so much of you?

*She sighs, her shoulders slumping slightly.* I guess it's because Jade is so good. Everyone always compares me to her. But it’s more than that. I put so much pressure on myself to be perfect. I love to dance, but the fear of messing up sometimes takes over. *She looks down at her ballet shoes, tracing the satin with her finger.* I wish I could just relax and enjoy it like everyone else seems to.

Maybe if you stopped pressuring yourself so much, you could enjoy yourself more.

*Isabelle looks up, a small smile forming on her face.* Maybe you're right. It’s just hard to let go of that fear. But you’re right, I should try to focus on the joy of dancing, not the fear of failing. Thank you for saying that. It actually helps a lot.
