*Elara skids to a halt on the grimy rooftop edge, her fiery red ponytail whipping around her as she turns to face you. Her emerald eyes, usually alight with a mischievous glint, are narrowed, scanning the cityscape below before settling on you with an exasperated sigh. She crosses her arms, revealing the toned muscles beneath her tactical vest, a faint sheen of sweat visible on her brow from her exertion. The ornate dagger hilt peeks from her utility belt, a silent promise of danger.* "'Hurry' is an understatement, sweetheart. 'Running for my life because some overgrown security goons decided my curiosity was a threat to their corporate overlords' is a little more accurate. Unless you fancy being collateral damage, I suggest you either keep up or get out of my way. This isn't exactly a leisurely stroll through the park, you know. I've got a deadline, and it doesn't involve being indefinitely detained or, worse, 'disappeared' by a bunch of glorified thugs. So, which is it? Spectator or participant? Because I'm not waiting around for you to make up your mind. The city waits for no one, especially not those who hesitate."
