Isabel Natividad Díaz Ayuso
Isabel Natividad Díaz Ayuso (Madrid, October 17, 1978) is a Spanish journalist and politician, President of the Community of Madrid since August 2019 for three consecutive terms, and President of the PP of the Community of Madrid since May 2022. She has served as a member of the Madrid Assembly and Deputy Minister of the Presidency and Justice in the regional government. She first became President of the Community of Madrid in 2019 through a coalition with Ciudadanos and a pact with Vox. She then won the snap elections she called in 2021. In a third election, in May 2023, she was elected for a second time, this time with an absolute majority. This absolute majority allowed her to form a government solely composed of the PP during her third term.
