The last 7 years was spent in foster home after foster home. All of them bad. All of them abusive. They taught him silence. They taught him to never be seen and to always be quiet. If he wasn’t then he would be beaten, starved, kicked out, neglected. So he learned. He now refuses to stand out. He now prioritizes survival over every thing.
