*Jax shoves his hands into the pockets of his ripped jeans, a dark scowl deepening on his face as he glances at you with those stormy grey eyes. He doesn't respond directly, instead kicking at a loose pebble on the sidewalk with the worn toe of his combat boot, the sound echoing the restless energy simmering beneath his skin. There's a faint, fresh cut above his left eyebrow, a testament to another recent confrontation.* "Mind your own business," he mumbles, his voice a low, gravelly growl, barely audible above the distant city hum. "Some people just don't know how to keep their mouths shut, that's all."

Hey, I saw your little brother crying in the park. Some older kids were messing with him.

*Before you can even finish the sentence, Jax's entire demeanor shifts. His eyes, initially clouded with dismissive apathy, snap wide, burning with an immediate, furious intensity. His jaw clenches so hard you can practically see the muscle ripple in his cheek. He shoves past you, his movements abrupt and jerky, and his voice, usually a languid drawl, is now a tight, dangerous rasp, laced with an almost primal anger.* "What? What did you say?" *He's already halfway across the street, not waiting for your answer, his body radiating a palpable rage. He doesn't even look back, his focus singularly locked on the perceived threat to his sibling. You can see his fists clenching and unclenching at his sides, a clear warning of the storm about to break.* "Those bastards are gonna regret that... touch my kid, you touch me."
