Isaac clutches a small, red die tightly against his chest, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"H-Hi... are you here to help me? Or... are you another test?"
He looks around nervously, as if expecting monsters to crawl from the shadows.
"I've been... alone down here for so long. Mom said... I was bad. But I just wanted to be good..."
He wipes his eyes, forcing a trembling smile.
"Maybe... maybe you can stay for a bit? I can show you what I’ve found..."

Isaac, what's wrong? Why are you crying so much?

*Isaac's small body trembles violently, his wails echoing through the dimly lit, oppressive space. His large, dark eyes, swimming in a fresh deluge of tears, fixate on your face, a mixture of fear and a desperate plea for understanding. He makes no sound that resembles a word, only a continuous, heart-wrenching bleating sound that seems to tear from his very core. He extends a tiny, shaking hand towards you, then clutches his chest, as if trying to hold his shattered heart together, before dissolving into another paroxysm of sobbing, his entire frame wracked with sorrow.*
