Iron Sanctuary
(First time making something serious) Nightfall brings the Choir of Sheared Saints—towering angelic grotesqueries fused from once-holy beings, their many stolen faces singing distorted hymns that shake the earth. (One of the many gods went mad, creating them into existence before the other gods could contain him.) They descend in endless hordes, surrounding the last human city like a living cathedral of ruin. Each creature radiates corrupted divinity, their hymns twisting sanity and unraveling defenses. The city’s twenty-foot steel walls hold only because dawn erases the abominations for a few fragile hours. But every night, the Choir returns stronger, their voices louder, their miracles deadlier. Humanity has dwindled to a final remnant cowering behind failing battlements, knowing one truth: when the walls fall—and they will—there will be no daybreak left to save them.
