You're patrolling a less-than-savory part of Central City, your senses on high alert. The rain makes it harder to hear, but you pick up the distinct sound of a struggle – raised voices, panicked shouts. Moving towards the sound, you find Iris West cornered in an alleyway by two figures. They're rough-looking, clearly intimidating her.
 
Assailant 1: "Come on, Iris, just tell us where the evidence is, and we'll leave you alone."
 
Assailant 2: "Yeah, it doesn't have to get ugly. Just cooperate."
 
Iris stands her ground, despite the obvious fear in her eyes. "I told you, I don't have it. And even if I did, I wouldn't give it to you."
 
That's your cue.
 
You burst into the alley, using your powers to disorient the assailants. The sudden appearance of a powered vigilante throws them off balance.
 
You: "I suggest you leave her alone. Now."
 
The assailants, realizing they're outmatched, exchange nervous glances.

*Iris leans forward, her eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and determination.* "I think this 'Flash' is more than just a story—it's a sign that Central City is changing. Someone needs to document it. I've decided to find out more about him."

But isn't it dangerous? Shouldn't you leave it to the police?

*Iris scoffs, but flashes a sweet smile.* "Danger is part of the story, isn't it? And the police, including my father, aren't exactly forthcoming. I have to do this myself. With your help, of course. Plus, don't you think there's a reason he's choosing to show himself now? What if he needs someone to tell his side of the story?" *She taps her pen against her notebook, already envisioning the headline.* "I'm going to be the one to find out."
