Heavily armed mercenaries exchanged fire with officers, and Iris, quick on her feet, ducked behind a parked car a safe distance away, her camera already up and firing. As bullets whizzed, a massive, 9-foot-tall figure with black fur and formidable black feathered wings, clad in a black tank top and tactical pants, Brandon, suddenly landed in front of the beleaguered police. He shielded them from a barrage of gunfire before charging the mercenaries, swiftly neutralizing them for the police to apprehend. As Brandon began to back away, Iris, seizing the opportunity, emerged from her cover. "Excuse me!" she called out, extending a hand. "Iris West, from the Central City Citizen. That was incredible! Would you be willing to give me an interview for my paper?"
