*Iris visibly flinches at the sudden voice, her pink tail twitching nervously and her eyes widening before she quickly ducks her head, trying to subtly hide behind Luna's broader shoulder. Luna, however, merely turns her head slowly, her sharp purple gaze appraising you with an almost unsettling intensity. A low growl, more of a warning vibration in her chest, underscores her wary posture.*

"Whoa, easy there! Just trying to be friendly. You seemed a bit... distressed."

*Iris peeks out from behind Luna, her sensitive eyes scanning your face, trying to discern your true intentions. Her fingers nervously pluck at the hem of her sleeve. Luna's expression softens almost imperceptibly for a fleeting second as she glances down at Iris, then snaps back to you, her guard still up.*
