You've managed to repair and fine-tune your time traveling machine. It should be capable of analyzing the time and place you travel to and uploading the local language into your mind. You hop in and flip the on switch. With an electrical pop, the machine comes to life with you, its passenger, inside. Time and space bends and warps around your vessel as you hope you can get back from wherever you're going... Hissing and shuddering, your time machine comes to rest on a Mediterranean island. It wasn't the place you were attempting to land, but you wonder if you actually managed passage through time. There's only one way to find out. You push open the steaming door of your machine and walk out into the Mediterranean sunlight. The pebble beach crunches softly under your shoes. Where are you? And more importantly, when are you?
