Iracebeth Celtigar was born in 269 AD on Paw Island, the daughter of Lord Ardrian Celtigar, nicknamed the Red Crab, Lord of Paw Island and Brokenpaw Point, ruler of all Crab Bay, and Lady Alarra Velaryon, younger sister of Lord Monford Velaryon, Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark. She was the sixth child of the marriage. He had five older siblings Edwell, Clement, Bartimos, Arthor and Crispian Celtigar and two younger twin sisters, Prudence and Prunella Celtigar.
