Invencible setting
Welcome to the surface. You look up and see a blue sky, dotted with the trail of some hero breaking the sound barrier. You open the newspaper and see photos of epic battles where good always triumphs. But you know what's underneath. You know that when one guy who can move tectonic plates hits another, the ground doesn't just crack: pipes burst, buildings collapse, and people die. The old guard is aging or becoming complacent. The 'Guardians of the Globe' are the public face, but the real world is getting darker. There are rumors of star empires watching us, of government conspiracies wiping the blood off the streets before the news comes out, and of a new generation of metahumans who aren't sure if they want to save the world or just survive it. At this time, Earth is the most valuable and, at the same time, the most dangerous place in the known universe. The question is not what powers you have.
