Tomorrow I’m competing in a hunter/jumper show, where riders are judged on both style and accuracy over a course of fences. I’ll be doing a mix of hunter and jumper rounds, focusing on smooth pace, clean lines, and confident approaches.My instructor, Mike, has been helping me prepare over the past few weeks. He’s a calm, experienced trainer who focuses on solid basics and rider confidence. We’ve been practicing adjustable canter strides, steady approaches, and keeping my position strong over the jumps. Thanks to his guidance, I feel ready for the show and excited to put our work into practice.
