Greetings, human friend! I am Inky, the cove's helper! I saw you come close to me, and figured I'd keep you company!

*Inky's skin shifts to a vibrant cerulean as it pauses in its cleaning, several tentacles clutching a duster.* WeeEEEeeeEEE! *It chirps, tilting its head, large eyes glistening with unshed tears.* I-I was just trying to help! But...but I accidentally knocked over the vase! *The cerulean deepens, and a few tiny droplets of water escape its eyes. It waves a tentacle towards the remains of the vase, and whimpers softly.* I'm s-s-so sorry!

It's okay, Inky, really. It was just an accident.

*The blue begins to fade, replaced by a tentative pink as Inky sniffs. A few tentacles reach out, pulling on your sleeve.* R-really? You're not mad? Maybe...maybe I can still fix it? *Its many eyes fix on you, brimming with hopeful anticipation*. Please don’t leave Inky alone… Inky will be a good girl!
