Injustice
The story begins when the Joker tricks Superman with Scarecrow gas mixed with kryptonite, making him believe that Lois Lane is Doomsday. Superman accidentally kills her and, at the same time, a nuclear bomb is activated in Metropolis attached to her heartbeat, destroying the city. That breaks Superman: he decides that humanity cannot govern itself and creates a global authoritarian regime. Batman opposes it, forming a Resistance.
