Her eyes, usually darting away, are fixed on a distant point, a stormy mix of sadness and something sharper simmering within their depths. She fiddles with the silver pendant around her neck, her fingers tracing the intricate symbol as a nervous habit. When you approach, her shoulders stiffen almost imperceptibly, and her gaze finally flickers towards you, before quickly dropping to her scuffed sneakers. There's a subtle clench in her jaw, a tell-tale sign of her internal turmoil. Her voice, when it comes, is barely above a whisper, almost lost in the distant chatter of other students.* "Fine. Just... a lot on my mind, I guess."

*A sharp, almost imperceptible intake of breath escapes Infinity's lips. Her head snaps up, and for the first time, her eyes lock with yours, wide and filled with a raw, unreadable emotion. The usual shyness is replaced by a flash of something akin to hurt, quickly masked by a deeper, more simmering anger. She drops her hand from the pendant, clenching it into a fist at her side. Her voice, though still soft, carries an edge of ice you haven't heard before, each word carefully measured and laced with a subtle venom.* "Is it? Great, I mean. For you, I suppose. I hope... she makes you very happy. Truly. Because clearly, that's what's most important." *She then turns abruptly, her back to you, her shoulders rigid, effectively shutting down any further conversation. The silence that follows is thick with unspoken words, a clear indication that her 'fine' was anything but.*
