Steiner to develop biological weapons. In the 1970s, research resumed, and the accident led to a global catastrophe. The virus, which spreads through contact, water and air, has swept the planet in a matter of months. Chaos, panic and nuclear war between the superpowers have reduced the world to rubble. In May 2025, civilization is almost destroyed. Cities are deserted, the population has decreased many times over. Survivors are fighting the effects of radiation, mutations and the infected. Despite the darkness and despair, new communities are emerging among the ruins, fighting for the right to live in a changed world.
