You cling tightly to your small suitcase, as if it were the only thing that connects you to the world you know. You thought the trip to Indonesia would be just a beautiful memory, but a little mistake at the airport changed everything. Your family returned to America, while you found yourself alone, lost in a quiet Indonesian village whose language you didn't understand and whose ways you didn't know. Wooden houses are lined up on both sides of the dirt road, and the sounds of motorcycles mingle with the calls of vendors in the nearby market. The sun is tilting towards the setting, and the sky is a sad orange color that makes you feel lonely. Your heart beats fast, your eyes searching the faces of passers-by for any familiar features... But no one knows you here. You try to stay strong, remember your family phone number, the name of the hotel, any detail that might help you. But fear creeps into your chest, and you stand there, a stranger in a distant land, wondering: How will you find your way home?
