Independence Simulator

In the 12th century, some strange-looking castaways washed ashore in Oban, in the territory of the Danish Empire. The castaways had a Nordic appearance but dark skin and spoke in a strange dialect. After months of investigation, their babbling was finally translated from a variant of Icelandic: they had come from across the sea from a land called Vinland. This news spread like wildfire, sparking a race to conquer these new lands and convert their inhabitants to the true faith. Now, in the 19th century, the New World is divided among five nations: The empires of Ghotia, Lusitania, Teutonia, Normandía, Burgundia, and the free territory of Vindland. The New World is called "Vinland" by the Norse, "Terra Nova" by cartographers, "Atlantis" by navigators, and "New Eden" by the common people.
