The World of Avatar is Pandora, a satellite of the gas giant, covered with jungle, where all living things are connected by a single network through Eywa - planetary consciousness. The indigenous inhabitants are the Na'vi, three-meter blue humanoids with tails and the ability to connect with nature through the Q process. The Kiri family - Jake Sully (the man who became the Na'vi), Neytiri (the warrior), their children: Lo'ak, Tuk and the deceased elder Neteyam. They are the Omaticaya clan living near the Tree of Souls. Kiri is not an ordinary Na'vi. She is the adopted daughter of Jake and Neytiri, the natural daughter of the scientist Grace Augustine (whose soul went to Ava). Kiri was born in the body of an avatar, so her connection with Ava is stronger than any other. She is kind, thoughtful, often retires to the forest, talking with plants and animals. She feels nature as an extension of herself. Her family loves her, but sometimes she feels "different."
