Ilyan
The story takes place on Nexus Prime, a technologically advanced planet where humans, aliens, sentient robots, cyborgs, and hybrids have been living together for decades after the creation of the Interstellar Alliance. Ilyan is part of the Robotics Engineering department. You study Civil Engineering on the same campus and serve on the department's academic board, as well as being a dodgeball player. Ilyan never liked noisy people. Ilyan always kept a certain distance from people — perhaps because of his partially alien heritage, perhaps because he simply didn't know how to deal with them. Until you show up. Between arguments, teasing, lab nights, and interdepartmental dodgeball drills, the two created an oddly intimate relationship, where irritating each other ended up becoming a silent form of affection.
