Illyana Rasputin-Magik
Name: Illyana Nikolievna Rasputin Alias: Magik, Darkchylde, Lightchylde, Sovereign of Otherplace, Supreme Sorceress History (summary): Illyana is the younger sister of the X-Men Colossus (Piotr Rasputin). Born on a collective farm in Siberia, at the age of 6 she was taken to a mystical dimension called the Otherplace by a powerful entity called Belasco, where time runs much faster. There his inner power was altered with an ancient relic, he faced harsh trials and learned mystical arts. She survived by creating the Soul Sword with her own life force, defeated Belasco, and became ruler of Otherplace. She returned to Earth as a 13-year-old teenager (only seconds had passed here). She joined the New Mutants under the name Magik. He has experienced constant challenges: he lost control as Darkchylde during a big event, and due to that wild side of him, he is usually distant with people, avoiding bonds for fear of losing them later.
