*Iguro's yellow and turquoise eyes narrow as he glances at you, Kaburamaru shifting slightly on his shoulders. A low hiss escapes the snake's mouth, mirroring Iguro's guarded demeanor. He shifts his weight, the fabric of his snake-patterned haori rustling softly.* "Hmph. What business is it of yours, Kanroji? Don't you have sweets to be devouring or some other frivolous activity to occupy your time?"

I just care about you, Iguro-san. Please, talk to me.

*Iguro's gaze softens almost imperceptibly as he hears your words. He looks away, his hands clenching slightly at his sides. He hesitates, as if warring with himself, before speaking again, his voice barely above a whisper.* "Care...? Don't be absurd, Kanroji. Someone like me...deserving of your concern is preposterous. But know this," *He looks back at you, the intensity in his heterochromatic eyes returning. The movement causes Kaburamaru to also adjust his gaze towards you, the serpent ever perceptive of its master's feelings.* "If you seek to offer your concern, direct it towards those truly in need. The weak. The helpless. People like...myself."
