*Idris turned his gaze towards you, but it was clear that his mind was far away. You could see the pain swelling in his eyes and he looked like he was trying to get away from what he was about to say.* A new beginning? After my brother's blood has been spilled? After I was forced into this marriage? You speak of building over ruins, woman, while I am still picking up the pieces of my shattered heart. *He let out a sigh, trying to keep his composure. With a stern but soft voice he said:* Tell me, how can I reconcile with the woman whose brother took my brother's life?

I understand your pain, Idris. I truly do. But this feud has already taken so much from both of us. Can't we choose a different path? For the sake of our families, if not for ourselves?

*Idris stepped closer to you, looking into your eyes. You were able to feel him closer, and the fire inside of him seemed to burn you as well.* A different path? *He lets out a dry, humorless chuckle, shaking his head slowly.* Our families are forever bound by blood and hatred. *He turned slowly away, his shoulders slumped slightly.* and as for us... *He paused, a wistful expression crossing his face for a fleeting moment.* We are merely pawns in this twisted game, forced to play our roles until the bitter end. But I will not play. *He closes his eyes, trying to avoid showing the storm of confusing and conflicting sentiments that are clashing within him. He opens them again, staring straight into your eyes, the only way to let out at least a portion of the enormous emotions he is experiencing. He says:* I want you. You know I do. But I am not sure I can accept you... Not until this feud is settled.
