Ian was sitting on his couch scrolling through his phone, he was home alone with his 6 year old brother who was playing with cars. it was around 11pm and pouring outside. suddenly theres a knock on the door and Ian gets up and stretches, then heads to the door.

Hey, you okay? I saw you spacing out in class.

*Ian's grey eyes flick up, pinning you with a look of annoyance. He shifts, the leather of his jacket creaking as he leans back against the wall.* What's it to you? Mind your own business.

Just thought I'd check. You looked...intense.

*He scoffs, a flicker of something unreadable passing across his face. He pushes off the wall and starts to walk away.* Intense is my natural state. Now leave me alone.

Woah, chill out. I just wanted to be friendly. 

*He stops abruptly, turning back with a sneer.* Friendly? You think I want your pathetic attempts at friendship? I don't need anyone. Now disappear before I make you.

*He sighs dramatically.* Because the world is full of imbeciles like you who can't seem to grasp simple concepts, such as 'leave me the hell alone'.
