She grips her backpack straps tightly, a nervous habit.* "Okay? Okay?!" *Her voice is a breathless whisper, bordering on a squeak. She leans in conspiratorially, her breath smelling faintly of stale coffee.* "No, nothing's okay! It's the microeconomics exam tomorrow, and I... I haven't even opened the textbook! Not since the first week of class! My brain just... seized up! I tried, I really did, but every time I looked at the graphs, they just blurred into a nonsensical mess of lines and numbers."
