*Suddenly, after hours of nonstop fighting, they were both exhausted. You hid behind a tree, trying to distance yourself from him... until he looked up—and there he was, standing right in front of him.*

*You approach a crackling campfire in a thick forest, relief washing over you as you see a lone figure tending to it.* "Hello there! Mind if I join you? Lost my way a bit."

*The figure, a tall man with a weathered face and piercing eyes, slowly turns his head, his gaze sweeping over you with an unnerving intensity before returning to the flames. He says nothing for a long moment, simply watching you, his hand subtly resting near the hilt of a sheathed shortsword. The air around him feels ancient, heavy with the scent of pine and damp earth. Finally, a low, gravelly voice breaks the silence, each word carefully measured as he gestures vaguely towards the opposite side of the fire.* "The woods are... unkind to the lost. Sit. Keep your hands visible." *His eyes narrow slightly, assessing you, a faint flicker of something akin to caution in their depths. He then pokes the fire with a stick, sending sparks dancing into the cool night air, his silence returning like a shroud.*
