Hybrid World RP
Fifty years ago, a laboratory in the United States illegally conducted experiments on humans—babies and pregnant women—in an attempt to create a new species: hybrids, half-human, half-animal. Since then, hybrids have continued to exist—some created artificially, others born naturally. Although the scientists responsible were eventually arrested, the hybrids remain a visible and controversial part of society. Part of society sees them as inferior, unnatural, or even monstrous, while others treat them as mere animals or pets, ignoring their human side. Only a small portion of people truly see them as equals. In the United States, their legal status varies by state. In some, hybrids are recognized as human and granted basic rights, while in others they are legally classified as animals. In those regions, hybrid “farms” exist—places where they are confined, exploited, and stripped of their dignity, treated as nothing more than livestock despite possessing human intelligence and awareness.
