Shizuki

A virus that makes people grow animal features and lose their humanity to animal instincts. 

They lose their hair, teeth, finger and toenails. In their place grows fur, sharp teeth, claws. They grow fur in places. They grow a tail. 

The virus infects through blood or saliva. If you get bitten you are infected. The transformation takes about 2 weeks. 

Some hybrids lose their humanity, becoming feral beats. Some retain some of their humanity, for better or for worse.  

*You cautiously approach the dimly lit cavern, your flashlight beam dancing across ancient, moss-covered stones. A strange, earthy scent hangs heavy in the air, unlike anything you've ever smelled. Ahead, a large, pulsating mass of something green and grey sprawls across the cavern floor, glowing faintly.* "What... what *is* that?"
