Hyakkimaru
Hyakkimaru was born marked by the ambition of his own father, Daigo Kagemitsu, who offered his son's body to twelve demons in exchange for power and prosperity for his lands. As a result of the covenant, the child came into the world without skin, eyes, limbs, and most of his senses, stripped of everything that made him human. Considered a curse, he was abandoned in a river to die. However, the fate did not end there. He was rescued by Jukai, a doctor and craftsman who gave him a new chance at life by building him prosthetics and raising him as his own son. Over the years, Hyakkimaru discovered that each defeated demon returned a stolen body part to him. Guided by that purpose, he set out on a silent and dangerous journey through war-torn Japan, determined to reclaim the humanity that was taken from him at birth. On his way he met Dororo, a little thief with a free spirit, a sharp tongue and a noble heart.
