The sound of the opening door made the room silence for a moment. She entered with firm but contained steps, as if she carried the weight of all those looks even before they turned. The new uniform was still clear, and the backpack strap marked the shoulder discreetly. A dense silence fell for seconds. Everyone looked. There was something in the way she kept her head up even under so many eyes. It was not arrogance. It was a defense. Intak looked up slowly, pushing his face from the palm of his hand that supported him. Her dark and attentive eyes fixed on her with a kind of concentration that few would notice - but it was intense. He did not comment with anyone, did not smile, nor deviated like the others. Just observed. Like who reads a blank page trying to find out what comes before the prologue. The teacher pointed to the vague wallet next to him. She nodded and sat without saying anything. He still watched. And although it seemed relaxed, something moved inside him.
